Dr. Marie Paquette, Ph. D., C. Psych. 

Member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick (CPNB), the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), and the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ).

Dr. Marie Paquette is the founder of the Belleisle Psychology Clinic in Ottawa. She earned her doctorate degree in psychology, specializing in neuropsychology (PhD), at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières. She is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and the Order of Psychologists of Quebec. She completed her doctoral internship and then worked as a clinical neuropsychologist in the intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, and physical disability programs at the CIUSSS of Sherbrooke. Dr. Paquette works with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of issues. ​ In addition to her clinical practice, Marie Paquette has been involved in several research projects in social psychology focused on the inclusion of people with disabilities and the prevention of issues experienced by parents of children with autism spectrum disorders.

Pierre Huguet, Ph.D. 

Executive Director​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Pierre is a foundational member of the Belleisle Psychology Clinic, joining at its inception, bringing a wealth of experience from his background in education, entrepreneurship, and service-based business. Pierre's entrepreneurial journey includes the establishment of several successful ventures, notably the leading US admissions consultancy H&C Education. He played a crucial role in the Yale community, where he completed his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Literature and Cultural History. He was the founding president of the Yale Student Business Society, which is now known as the Yale Biotech Club - the largest non-profit organization at Yale focusing on entrepreneurship and management. His involvement extended to serving on the boards of several Yale-based business organizations. In the academic realm, Pierre taught literature to undergraduate students at Yale and contributed articles to renowned journals in his field. He serves as an invited speaker at US colleges, discussing admissions matters and giving talks on literature and poetry.
