Dr. Marie Paquette, Ph. D., C. Psych.
Member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick (CPNB), the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), and the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ).
Dr. Marie Paquette is the founder of the Belleisle Psychology Clinic in Ottawa. She earned her doctorate degree in psychology, specializing in neuropsychology (PhD), at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières. She is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and the Order of Psychologists of Quebec. She completed her doctoral internship and then worked as a clinical neuropsychologist in the intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, and physical disability programs at the CIUSSS of Sherbrooke. Dr. Paquette works with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of issues. In addition to her clinical practice, Marie Paquette has been involved in several research projects in social psychology focused on the inclusion of people with disabilities and the prevention of issues experienced by parents of children with autism spectrum disorders.
Pierre Huguet, Ph.D.
Executive Director
Pierre is a foundational member of the Belleisle Psychology Clinic, joining at its inception, bringing a wealth of experience from his background in education, entrepreneurship, and service-based business. Pierre's entrepreneurial journey includes the establishment of several successful ventures, notably the leading US admissions consultancy H&C Education. He played a crucial role in the Yale community, where he completed his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Literature and Cultural History. He was the founding president of the Yale Student Business Society, which is now known as the Yale Biotech Club - the largest non-profit organization at Yale focusing on entrepreneurship and management. His involvement extended to serving on the boards of several Yale-based business organizations. In the academic realm, Pierre taught literature to undergraduate students at Yale and contributed articles to renowned journals in his field. He serves as an invited speaker at US colleges, discussing admissions matters and giving talks on literature and poetry.

Dr. Aude Massicotte-Rochon, Psy. D., C. Psych.

Aude Massicotte-Rochon holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in linguistics and psychology, as well as a Master's in Speech Therapy from the University of Ottawa. She has completed her doctoral studies in psychology (D.Psy.), with a focus on clinical neuropsychology, at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. During her doctoral studies, she completed a doctoral essay on the online sexual activities of autistic individuals. Clinically, Aude worked as a speech therapist in a school environment before starting her doctorate. In this role, she conducted assessments and language interventions (oral and written) for preschool and school-aged children. During her doctorate, Aude completed her first internship at the La RessourSe Regional Rehabilitation Center, where she worked with an adult population suffering from various acquired neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury, etc.). She then completed her second internship in a private setting, where she gained experience in neuropsychological assessment primarily aimed at identifying the presence of neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, specific learning disorders, praxic disorders, etc.), but also at better understanding the impact of psychoaffective disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, etc.) on an individual's cognitive functioning, with a variety of populations (pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients, both Francophone and Anglophone).
Dr. Geoffrey Mok, Psy. D., C. Psych.

Dr. Geoffrey Mok’s degree is in Clinical Psychology from Alder University, with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Mok has completed clinical training rotations for clients ranging from children to the elderly in various inpatient and outpatient settings, such as Meier Clinics in Wheaton, Illinois, and the UBC Hospital Clinic for Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders. Dr. Mok completed his doctoral internship at Correctional Services Canada, where he provided assessment and treatment services to incarcerated offenders with diverse cognitive and psychological needs. Since then, he has been working in private practice providing psychological and neuropsychological assessment and treatment to adults and seniors.
Dr. Véronique Alvo, Psy. D., C. Psych

Dr. Véronique Alvo studied at Université Laval, where she completed a Doctorate (D.Psy.) in Neuropsychology. Her research focused on evaluating the effects of yoga and mindfulness meditation on elementary school children. She is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ) and the Association québécoise des neuropsychologues (AQNP). She specializes in the assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disorders (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dyscalculia), praxis disorders, and high intellectual potential (giftedness). Although her practice mainly focuses on children, she is also equipped to assess adults. Furthermore, she completed her internship at a rehabilitation center for physical disabilities, working with children who have motor or language impairments. She has also developed expertise in the assessment and management of children, adolescents, and adults who may have intellectual disabilities. She adopts an individualized approach aimed at better understanding the strengths and challenges of each person. She formulates specific recommendations to improve functioning in various areas of life, including academic, family, and social contexts. She values a warm and authentic relationship based on listening and trust.
Anca Stefania Ionescu, Psy.D.

Dr. Anca Stefania Ionescu is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist and member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ) dedicated to helping clients achieve greater understanding of their cognitive and emotional functioning. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology from the Université de Montréal and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including learning difficulties, developmental disorders, and mental health concerns. Dr. Ionescu specializes in neuropsychological assessments and providing tailored recommendations to support each client’s unique needs. Her multilingual approach allows her to connect with clients in French, English, Romanian, and Spanish. Known for her compassionate care and collaborative approach, she strives to empower clients and their families with actionable insights and strategies for growth.
Katarina Sotelo, B.A.,

Katarina is a doctoral candidate in psychology, specializing in clinical neuropsychology (D. Psy.) at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology (B. Sc.) from UQO. Katarina completed her first internship at the Pierre-Janet Hospital, working with adults and the elderly who have psychiatric issues (e.g., psychotic disorders, neurocognitive disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, personality disorders, etc.) using a bio-psycho-social approach. During her second internship in a private setting, Katarina honed her evaluation skills with a varied clientele (from early childhood to adulthood) presenting various neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, giftedness, ASD, specific learning disorders, Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, etc.) while considering affective issues (e.g., anxiety, depression, opposition, personality disorders, etc.). In parallel, Katarina is actively involved in the Laboratory on the Uniqueness and Diversity of Behaviors in Autism (LUDICA). She is completing her doctoral thesis on documenting the developmental trajectory of emotional expression in autistic children: from preschool age to school age through an observation context adapted to autistic characteristics. Katarina is a dedicated young professional committed to providing quality services by adapting her practice to the specific needs of her clients.
Marika Goyette, B.A.,

Marika obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Sherbrooke. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Quebec in Outaouais, Gatineau. For her doctoral essay, she is currently working as a research assistant at the Royal Mental Health Center in Ottawa, where she administers various psychological and neuropsychological tests to individuals with psychotic disorders. Marika also has experience with children with various developmental and behavioral disorders from her previous jobs. As a result, she is committed to adapting and personalizing neuropsychological/psychological services for the different clients she works with.
Dr. Myriam Séguin, Psy. D.

Myriam Séguin completed a doctorate in clinical psychology at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She has been a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec since 2019. To diversify her practice, she completed her certification in neuropsychology in 2022. She worked with children and adolescents in school settings for about five years. Currently, she practices in private practice, working with a clientele of children and adolescents. Dr. Séguin specializes in the psychological and neuropsychological assessment of neurodevelopmental and mental health disorders, aiming not only to refine diagnoses but also to propose interventions tailored to the needs of her young clients. She regularly collaborates with various individuals involved in their care (e.g., parents, school professionals, social workers, physicians, etc.). Additionally, Dr. Séguin is gradually developing a psychotherapy service based on the Gestalt Psychotherapy of Object Relations (PGRO) approach for adolescents and young adults. For the time being, she exclusively offers assessment services.
Dr. Isabelle Charbonneau, Psy. D., C. Psych.

Isabelle is a doctoral candidate nearing the end of her program in clinical neuropsychology at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. She completed her internships at the Rivière-des-Prairies Mental Health Hospital and the Montreal Children’s Hospital where she was able to develop and hone her skills in neuropsychological assessments with a diverse pediatric clientele presenting various neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, ASD, specific learning disorders, intellectual development disorder, etc.), psychiatric conditions (e.g., mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, etc.) and neurological conditions (e.g., epilepsy, brain tumors, etc.). In addition to her clinical activities, Isabelle is actively involved in research at the Visual and Social Perception Laboratory at UQO. Her work focuses on the underlying mechanisms of facial expression recognition of emotions and the influence of ethnic biases on brain responses during face processing. Combining her scientific rigor and sensitivity to the needs of her clients, Isabelle is fully committed to providing the best possible care to children, adolescents, and their families.
Dre. Anne-Laure Macé, Ph.D.

Anne-Laure Macé holds a doctorate in psychology with a specialization in clinical neuropsychology from the University of Montreal and has been a member of the Quebec Order of Psychologists since 2006. Previously, she completed a master’s degree in neuropsychology in France. Her academic background has been enriched by diverse clinical experiences in adult trauma and neurology. For the past twenty years, she has worked as a neuropsychologist in the Neuropsychology Service at CÉSAR at the University of Montreal. She also provides supervision and consultation services. In her clinical practice, Dr. Macé specializes in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and intervention planning in school and professional settings. She is committed to offering personalized, person-centered services, considering cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and social aspects to define a comprehensive intervention plan tailored to the individual’s needs.
Agnès Éthier, B.A.,
Doctoral Candidate in Neuropsychology

Agnès is a doctoral candidate in clinical neuropsychology (D. Psy.) at the University of Quebec in Outaouais. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Laval University with a focus on research and intervention. Her doctoral thesis examines the developmental trajectory of repetitive behaviors and intense interests in autistic children, a project in collaboration with the Rivière-des-Prairies Hospital in Montreal. Passionate about brain function, psychiatry, and neurological diseases, Agnès decided to complete her first internship at the La RessourSe Physical Rehabilitation Center in Hull, working with an adult and geriatric population with neurological impairments, and various diseases (stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, brain tumors, long COVID, etc.). During her second internship, Agnès conducted neuropsychological assessments in private practice with children, adolescents, and adults presenting various neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, giftedness, Tourette's syndrome, specific learning disabilities, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, etc.). Agnès has also been an assistant supervisor at the University of Quebec in Outaouais's Psychological Services Clinic since 2022, where she supervises doctoral students in clinical neuropsychology completing their practicum with children and adults with neurodevelopmental and psychological disorders. Finally, her concern for social justice encourages her to prioritize a personalized biopsychosocial approach to adequately address the reality and needs of each client.
Marie-Claude Desjardins, B.A.,

Marie-Claude is currently completing her second year in the doctoral program in clinical neuropsychology at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. As part of her practical training, she has developed her skills in neuropsychological assessment by working with adults and children with various neurodevelopmental conditions (ADHD, specific learning disorders, language disorders, developmental coordination disorder) as well as mental health issues (mood disorders, anxiety, etc.). She is preparing to undertake her two internships next year in the fields of outpatient psychiatry and cognitive remediation for brain-injured patients. Marie-Claude is conducting her doctoral research at the Laboratory of Visual and Social Perception at UQO, co-supervised with the Neurostimulation Laboratory at The Royal Mental Health Centre in Ottawa.. She is interested in the neural networks that underlie empathetic behaviors, specifically their impact on the perceptual mechanisms involved in the perception of facial expressions of pain. She is delighted to join the team as a supervised doctoral candidate to provide quality neuropsychological services to children/people of all ages in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
Lisa-Sarah Brunier, B.A.,

Lisa-Sarah Brunier earned her Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, specializing in Neuropsychology, from the University of Montreal. Continuing her studies in the field, she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Neuropsychology at the University of Quebec in Outaouais. She aims to pursue her internships in the field of pediatric psycho-oncology, specifically working with children and adolescents. For her doctoral thesis, she is conducting research at the Mental Health Institute in Ottawa, which allows her to engage with both Francophone and Anglophone environments. Her research focuses on social cognition and the impact of traumatic experiences on individuals affected by schizophrenia, as well as those at high familial risk. Lisa-Sarah is thrilled to contribute as a psychometrist to neuropsychological evaluations, ensuring that the needs of families in the Ottawa region are met.

In fact, she would love to specialize in child psychiatry in her future practice. Marianne is a person full of dynamism and enthusiasm! In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, drawing, and painting.
Dr. Olga Gale, Psy.D., C.Psych
Dr. Olga Gale is a clinical psychologist who works with individuals and couples. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and she is listed with the National Register of Health Care Providers in Psychology. She uses an integrative psychological approach, tailored to the individual needs of her clients. With over a decade of experience, she is passionate about helping clients navigate challenges, offering personalized care informed by humanistic and psychodynamic principles. In her work with couples, she incorporates Emotion Focused Therapy to foster connection and improve communication. Dr. Gale also specializes in psychological and neuropsychological assessment and conducts evaluations for various conditions such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, ADHD, memory concerns, cognitive impairment, mild brain injury, concussions, chronic pain, degenerative conditions, and substance use disorders. Her integrative approach ensures each client receives care uniquely suited to their needs, whether in therapy or comprehensive assessments. Dr. Gale earned her Bachelor degree in psychology at York University, (Toronto Ontario), and Master's of Art and Doctor of Psychology degrees at the Adler School of Professional Psychology (Chicago, Illinois). She completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and a post-doctoral fellowship at tht. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington D.C., as well as a post-doctoral psychotherapy program at the Allanson White Institute in New York City.
Psychometricians are an integral part of the assessment process. They administer standardized tests under the supervision of licensed psychologists, specifically under the direct supervision of Dr. Marie Paquette, Ph. D., C. Psych. Psychometricians do not interpret test results or provide diagnoses; rather, they work closely with psychologists to ensure accurate data collection, which contributes to the development of a detailed psychological evaluation.
Melodie Pilon, B.A.
Melodie Pilon graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. She is hoping to pursue her studies with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a concentration in Neuroscience. Melodie is fully bilingual in both French and English and has lots of experience working with children. For example, Melodie was an Instructor therapist who provided ABA-based therapy for children on the autism spectrum and who have other developmental and behavioral disorders. She also has experience working with many psychologists as a psychometrist for over a year. She is happy to be in Ottawa and making sure children and families receive proper and personalized psychological services.
Chloé Galinier, B.A.
Chloé is a doctoral student in clinical neuropsychology at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. She has gained experience with various patient groups, working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and in palliative care. In parallel, Chloé is a research assistant at the Laboratory of Visual and Social Perception (LPVS), where she conducts research on the electrophysiological mechanisms involved in the processing of faces from different ethnicities for her doctoral thesis project. She is delighted to join the clinic as a psychometrist. Chloé looks forward to collaborating with the team and bringing her experience to contribute to assessments and the well-being of clients.
Anna Ranger, M.A.
Anna began her academic journey at the University of Ottawa, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminology in 2020. She went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Victimology from Algonquin College in 2021 and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University in 2024. Her Master’s thesis, “Effects of Vicarious Crime Exposure on Wellbeing in Victims and Their Romantic Partners,” reflects her dedication to understanding the direct and vicarious psychological impacts of experiencing traumatic events, including those of a criminal nature. Over the past year, Anna has been working as a psychometrist under the supervision of psychologists specializing in assessing Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in adults. In this role, she administers, scores, and interprets psychological tests, providing valuable data to support psychologists in completing assessments and making diagnoses. During your time with Anna, you will participate in cognitive testing using tools grounded in the latest scientific research. Anna strives to make the assessment process as engaging and comfortable as possible. Looking ahead, Anna plans to pursue further education and training in counselling psychology, with the goal of becoming a practicing psychotherapist.
Vicki Ledrou-Paquet, B.A.
Vicki obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in clinical neuropsychology there. She has gained various clinical experiences, particularly with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and those who have suffered brain trauma, such as a stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI). Alongside her clinical experiences, Vicki is involved as a research assistant at the Laboratory of Visual and Social Perception (LPVS). Her doctoral thesis project focuses on the underlying mechanisms of face and facial expression perception in individuals with autistic traits. Vicki is happy to be involved as a psychometrician to provide the best possible services during neuropsychological assessments.
Anthony Proulx, B.A.
Anthony is a clinical neuropsychology (D.Psy.) student at the University of Quebec in Outaouais (UQO), where he is beginning his second year of doctoral studies. With a strong interest in gerontology, he has gained valuable experience working with an aging population, contributing to a deeper understanding of the psychosocial issues related to aging. During his practicum, he is currently developing skills in neuropsychological assessment with children and adults presenting various neurodevelopmental and psychological disorders (ADHD, specific learning disorders, anxiety, etc.). In parallel, Anthony is conducting his doctoral thesis at UQO’s Visual and Social Perception Laboratory (LPVS). His research project combines electroencephalography and psychophysical methods to study the facial features used in intra- and interethnic face identification. An athlete at heart, Anthony values collaboration and dynamism—qualities he seeks to fully integrate into his practice. He is enthusiastically committed to providing high-quality services tailored to the needs of each client.
Christophe Carleton
Christophe is a student in clinical neuropsychology (D.Psy.) at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO), where he is completing his second year of doctoral studies. He has gained experience working with various populations as a support worker and interventionist. He has notably worked with individuals with cognitive, intellectual, and emotional impairments, as well as with individuals in crisis and experiencing suicidal crisis. As part of his clinical practice internship, Christophe is refining his skills in neuropsychological assessment with children and adults presenting various neurodevelopmental and psychological disorders, such as specific learning disorders, ADHD, and anxiety. In parallel, he is conducting his doctoral thesis within the Neurostimulation Laboratory (NEST Lab) at UQO. His research project focuses on combining non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation and electromyography to assess the effectiveness of various neuromodulation treatment protocols targeting the motor cortex. Committed to providing high-quality services, Christophe is attentive to his clients’ needs. He is joining the clinic with enthusiasm as a psychometrician.
Charlie Legault, B.Sc., M.Sc.
Charlie Legault is a psychoeducator and a member of the Order of Psychoeducators of Quebec. She holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) and a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in psychoeducation from the University of Montreal. She gained significant experience during her studies, notably through her master’s internship, during which she focused on emotional dysregulation in children under youth protection. During her studies, she worked with diverse clients, including at Maison Lyse Beauchamp with adults presenting complex mental health disorders (schizophrenia, personality disorders, substance abuse), and as a specialized educator in schools, in a classroom for children with special needs (behavioral issues, mental health, attachment disorders). Charlie also completed internships in youth protection at the Mont Saint-Antoine Rehabilitation Center and the Mont-Laurier Youth Center, where she worked on various issues (neglect, abuse, substance use, attachment disorders, etc.). Since earning her master’s degree, she has worked as a psychoeducator, first in assessment at the Continuum of Youth Services for children with developmental delays, and then in the school environment (primary and secondary levels). Charlie favors a caring approach based on respect and empathy to create a trusting environment where each individual feels valued and supported.
Latesha Dubuc

With a solid foundation in administration and customer service in both official languages, she brings an abundance of expertise to our team. Latesha plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Belleisle psychology clinics. She is known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Her background includes managing a veterinary hospital and supervising a medical office, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of healthcare administration and office management. She has extensive experience handling confidential information, maintaining accurate records, and streamlining office procedures to enhance productivity. She is passionate about her career and consistently strives to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction. As a mental health advocate, Latesha is continually pursuing further education and professional development. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Cassidy Little
Outreach Assistant
Cassidy is a psychology student at the University of Ottawa with a strong interest in clinical psychology and neuroscience. She is fully bilingual in French and English and contributes to the clinic team by assisting with administrative tasks. Outside the clinic, Cassidy actively engages in academic research as an assistant at The Royal and is involved in campus initiatives aimed at promoting cognitive health awareness. She is driven by a commitment to supporting mental health and continuously expanding her knowledge and skills in the field.
