Psychology and Neuropsychology Services for Hawkesbury Residents
Belleisle has offices in Ottawa and Gatineau, not in Hawkesbury. For Hawkesbury residents, psychotherapy is generally offered online, which avoids the drive; it requires a sufficiently private space and does not suit every situation. Neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments involve standardized testing that usually takes place in person, at our Ottawa and Gatineau offices, about an hour from Hawkesbury; depending on the professional and the situation, some parts can sometimes be completed remotely.

We are here to help families in Hawkesbury understand their children’s needs, and to support people coping with anxiety and depression. Psychologists in our network conduct neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments, and psychotherapy is provided by clinicians in our network who are registered with an Ontario regulatory college that authorizes them to practise it, each working within their scope of practice and competence.
We offer services adapted to the needs of people facing a range of life challenges, whether they arise from personal difficulties, work, school, or a persistent sense of unhappiness or dissatisfaction. Whatever brought you here, we can talk about what kind of support would fit.
Psychological and Neuropsychological Services for Hawkesbury Locals
At Belleisle Clinics, we take an integrative approach to mental health services. Neuropsychological assessment examines attention, memory, language and executive functioning when there are concerns about cognitive functioning. The results inform recommendations adapted to each person’s situation, and can be shared, with consent, with the professionals involved in their care. Availability varies; contact us to check what is currently offered.
Our clinicians draw on a range of therapeutic techniques, and aim to adapt the work to each person’s needs and concerns. The goal is to support recovery and resilience, and to help people develop coping strategies that fit their situation.
How we work with Hawkesbury residents
Access to psychological services can be limited in eastern Ontario, and travelling to Ottawa is not always practical. If you are looking for a psychologist or for a neuropsychological assessment, the professionals in the Belleisle network can discuss what would fit your situation.
In matters of mental health, the choice of a care provider matters. Belleisle Clinics aims to offer consistent, personalized services to the Hawkesbury community, through a team of experienced psychologists and clinicians.
